About Lindsay
Lindsay Grymes is a choreographer, dancer, and Pilates instructor whose career bridges professional artistry with cutting-edge training. She holds a BFA in Dance and Choreography from Marymount Manhattan College and has presented and commissioned works with institutions such as Joffrey Ballet Concert Group, Dance Place in Washington, DC, Peridance Contemporary Dance Company, Steps on Broadway, and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Her choreographic voice continues to expand nationally, where she is recognized for creating work that blends athleticism, artistry, and emotional resonance.
Her own training reflects a global pursuit of excellence — attending some of the world’s most prestigious programs with highly selective acceptance rates, including Alonzo King LINES Ballet, San Francisco Conservatory, B12 Dance Festival in Berlin, and residencies with leading contemporary companies worldwide. These experiences shape both her choreographic vision and her teaching practice.
As a certified Pilates instructor on all apparatus and in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), Lindsay works with a wide range of clients: professional dancers, athletes, and everyday movers navigating hypermobility, injury rehabilitation, autoimmune conditions, or simply seeking strength, balance, and alignment. She specializes in bridging classical Pilates with contemporary movement science — empowering clients to move with longevity, resilience, and precision.
Her expertise extends into education, where she is a sought-after guest teacher for master classes in Pilates, contemporary floorwork, and conditioning, as well as the creator of the Movement Mentorship program. This mentorship guides emerging artists through sustainable training, injury prevention, professional pathways, and creative ownership, with a mission to develop not only strong movers but thoughtful and resilient artists.
Whether collaborating with a company, leading a workshop, or coaching privately, Lindsay’s work reflects her commitment to excellence, innovation, and the betterment of future artists.
